Some things to Remember When Having An Outdoor Ceremony...
1)
If you’re getting married outdoors, and using
the DJ to provide music for the ceremony, make sure he sets up a microphone by
default. Not only will it assist the JP, it will allow your guests the
privilege of sharing The Most Important Part of the Day (!) – the Ceremony!
Also important, your guests will hear those beautiful vows you agonized over.
You’re paying the DJ anyway to set up a
speaker and hit play on the music – make him earn his money and put up a
microphone (if he tries to charge extra for the microphone when he’s already
set up for music, consider getting another DJ!).
2) If you decide to marry in a non-religious setting, be creative! The sky IS the limit (get married in a Hot Air Balloon!)! A Public Park is always nice, a local mansion, a special spot shared by the bride and groom – even a ceremony during the 7th inning stretch of a local baseball game can be most memorable!
