Played a Great Wedding Saturday in Torrington...

One highlight for me (being the Procurator of the Party!) was when a Guest requested Meatloaf's Paradise by the Dashboard Light (great song!).

We (guest and I) got out there, lined the men on the left and ladies to the right, facing each other.

For the first part of the song, couples or individuals strolled through the lane, with some very funny dance moves.
When the song got to the "Let me sleep on it" verses, after the baseball thing, the girls shouted the Female Lines ("what's it gonna be boy - Yes or No") while all the guys shot back at top voice "Well Let me sleep on it, baby baby..."
At the last part there was an EXPLOSION of dancing as Meatloaf howled his regret for a hasty decision. Our Party went WILD! You can also do this with Summer Loving (Grease).

Lessons...
1) DJ MUST take requests - we know a lot, but the crowd has MANY great ideas that would be missed by an arrogant DJ who THINKS he knows everything! DJ must listen to crowd!

2) A Wedding IS a Grand Party (after all the earlier Formalities). Find someone willing to get in there and Party With YOU!
