1) Don't Forget the Oldies! - You
might think that you and your friends will want to listen/dance to Just Top 40,
but you must remember
that at least half the people at your wedding will be Over 50 years old,
and will really share the experience if the DJ is well-versed in ALL
music -
from the 50's to current Billboard Charts. One main complaint I hear from wedding attendees (not MY weddings!) is that the DJ started dinner (loudly!) with Top 40, and never played anything else, upsetting the rest of the guests.

Young people will dance to
oldies too - Respect by Aretha, the Beatles and Stones,
Tutti Fruitti, some 70's, Love Shack and 80's - there's so much wonderful dance
music from all generations. HIRE a DJ that knows this music, and is
talented enough to sense what song will work For the Most People! You
can get to Pitbull and LMFAO later, or when the time is right. Your friends will
be the ones still standing later in the night! Remember to hire a DJ that can
include EVERYONE at this Lovefest!
2) Many
brides ask for suggestions when I ask them
for a songlist. I send them to my website page that has Hundreds
of songs from each Genre...Tom's Comprehensive Songlist...(click link).
As they
scroll through they choose many great songs they might have otherwise missed.
Please take a moment to check it out - it's very helpful for all Brides-to-Be!
