We loved having Tom as the DJ for our wedding day! We chose him based on another wedding we attended. The mix of music was great and he was very responsive to our needs/choices. Tom was such a joy to work with, and our wedding went off without a hitch! We could tell that he is very knowledgable about music-- he was talking with my husband about obscure songs and actually knew about them! More importantly, he really listened to us. My husband and I have very different tastes in music, and he somehow was able to make us both very happy on our wedding day. Our guests had a great time and enjoyed the music, and when guests requested music I had already vetoed, he respected my wishes and found an acceptable alternative which made everyone happy. My partner and I enjoyed working with Tom and were very pleased with his performance at our wedding. During the planning phase, he was helpful, accessible and open to our input. We threw him some curveballs (e.g., we had a drummer play along to his music ) and he hit them out of the park. The man clearly knows what he's doing.

On the night of our wedding, he was prompt, professional and friendly — everything pretty much went as planned. He stuck to our strict playlist (making a couple smart detours based on crowd reaction to genres) and expertly guided our group songs like the Cupid Shuffle and the Tarantella. He nailed the introductions and announcements and kept the party moving.

I recommend him to anyone looking for a stress-free and fun wedding. You're in good hands working with Tom

Tom is the absolute BEST! We had an outdoor tent wedding, about 115 guests. He accommodated everything we asked for. We are quite the eclectic bunch and he took all our requests, even lending my groom his mic so he could sing a little Elvis. He was fun and got everyone laughing from the start. Tom is fantastic and great to work with. Our wedding was a blast and the dance floor was filled all night! We are so please we selected Starry Nite DJs.    We threw a lot of challenges at Tom with a diverse play list of music that accommodated swing, tango and club dance styles, tango dance performances, as well as traditional Russian music and an impromptu Irish Step Dance demonstration, all on top of his duties of MC'ing the event and keeping the crowd engaged and having fun. Tom handled it all with ease. (He even found better studio quality versions of our Russian song list)

His DJ worksheet and personnel guidance was extremely helpful for us in planning the evening and keeping the event flowing smoothly. We were confident of the evenings agenda and could relax and enjoy ourselves.

Tom kept after me to pick a "final slow dance song" and then when he played it he pointed out to everyone that it was a remake of a classic song from the 50's (which I didn't know) which was such a sweet little touch! Tom is professional, friendly, fun, and even enormously supportive when wedding planning gets stressful. We are so glad he was part of our wedding! Best DJ Ever!!

Tom was great at our wedding two weeks ago! He went out of his way to meet with us twice before our wedding and drove to our town to meet. The price was right, and he is so knowledgeable about the timeline of weddings and how to keep the crowd going. Tom did a great job at our wedding. It was small and there were challenges in the room setup to get people together in one room dancing, but Tom managed it. He had all kinds of fun tricks to get people laughing. He kept track of our timeline, kept events moving, communicated with all of us during the night as needed, and helped make it an awesome night for everyone.

We had a great time dancing and he made a great announcer throughout during events, toasts, introductions, etc. My fiance was also very into rock and more into music than me. Tom worked with him throughout to get a sense of his music and to include his tastes throughout the night. It was clear from the get-go that Tom knew the venue, knew his business, was professional, had exceptional equipment, and was dedicated to bringing our vision to life. His prices were very competitive, and his quality was top-notch.

Tom Salatto truly has a gift! That gift is being able to read the crowd and know exactly what will keep people dancing and having fun from start to finish! Take the gamble on this one, trust me! I'm a very, very hard person to please and perfection is standard. I don't give these reviews out lightly. Tom set up in three locations at the venue for music to be heard no matter where people were. He took requests but monitored them to our guidelines, never took a break from playing and made the last song so epic no one will easily forget our day! Awesome! Amazing!
